Efficient gas production at the Titas Gas Field
At Location A of the Titas Gas Field in Brahmanbaria, gas production efficiency was to be improved and the existing production level maintained. Higher, sustained delivery pressure was intended to support delivery to the gas network.
The Titas Gas Field has produced gas since 1968. Long-term extraction reduced wellhead pressure by an average of about 90 pounds per square inch gauge (psig) per year. It was therefore foreseeable that gas flow could not be maintained permanently at the required sales-line pressure.
Dorsch Consult (India) Private Ltd. provided consulting services for the installation of seven wellhead compressors rated at 60 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) each at Location A. The commission comprised analyses of reservoir data and existing process plants, the design basis, front-end engineering design (FEED) and EPC tender documents. Detailed design review, construction supervision and support during testing and commissioning accompanied implementation.

- Development of engineering deliverables and the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) bid package, including support to BGFCL during bid evaluation
